Q. What is MyWingman?
MyWingman is a mobile phone application that allows you to connect with people with similar interest/profiles. MyWingman is GPS based and allows you to find people with similar interests that are in your proximity.
Q. How do I meet someone with similar interests?
When you download the application you fill out a basic user profile to describe yourself. Example: male or female, interests, who you are looking for etc. Next, let MyWingman do the rest… MyWingman will display users' profiles within your proximity as well as their percentage of compatibility and matching to your preferences. Then you can begin communicating using the 'flutter' instant messaging feature within MyWingman.
TIP for "Seeking": Under "Options" and then "Preferences", if you select "Seeking Romance" and you are "female" myWingman will retrieve "male" seeking "romance".
Another TIP: If you want to see every person in your area select "Someone to Chat with" under seeking (in Preferences).
Q. Is my information safe?
The MyWingman application uses secure transmission (SSL) when updating or filling out profile options to access the servers. We advise that you do not use your real name in your profile and create a unique username.
Q. What if someone bothers or offends me?
Users have the ability to block other users if they offend you. You can also report abuse at abuse@madpartnersltd.com .
Q. When I broadcast my profile and location is my picture broadcasted?
If you choose to broadcast your picture, yes.
Q. What is a "flyover"?
A "flyover" is simply a way to retrieve more profile and preference details about another user. Example: their photos, star sign, who they are looking for, etc.
Q. What is "Flutter"?
"Flutter" the built in chat feature on MyWingman.
Q. Can MyWingman be used as a Dating Application?
MyWingman can be used to meet and date new people. You can meet new friends or that special someone within your area.
Q. Is there an age limit on who can use MyWingman?

Q. What version of iPhone software is required for MyWingman currently?
MyWingman is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch and requires iphone 2.0 software.
